What is In Your Thought Diet?

It is all about the beliefs, thoughts, and words that we feed ourselves.  In fact, the way we process our thoughts is more important than what foods we eat.  The Universal rule is that energy follows thought.  Where we put our energy, as in what thoughts we think, is what will create our life.  Negative thoughts can create bad health.  When we choose positive, uplifting, and loving thoughts, we can build a strong immune system that helps to keep us disease free.

Prior to being born in this physical life, we each chose what was needed for our highest spiritual growth in this lifetime.  The challenges we meet are the gifts that we have contracted for in this lifetime for our own spiritual growth.  We chose the situations and the people involved from a place of total love.  We were advised and assisted by God, our spirit guides, and members of our soul family to help us create only the very best experiences for ourselves.

Our spiritual growth is not measured by living a life that is free of it's challenges, but by what we do when confronted with the challenges.  When we are handed lemons, do we make lemondade or do we become the victim?  Do we gather our inner energies of self love or launch an aggressive blame campaign while we struggle and stammer with what to do?  Do we live life with an open heart, ready and able to dance with whatever comes our way or do we build that wall up around our heart, continuing to suffer.

We can focus on the negative.  We can focus on what we don't have.  We can focus on the feeling that nothing is ever enough.  All that will do is ensure that we never will have enough.  However, if we develop an attitude of gratitude and celebrate everything that comes into our lives no matter what it is, is there to bring us the very best, then that is what it will be.

I am not saying we shouldn't feel through our upset emotions, moving on and pretending like they aren't there.  What I am suggesting is to take whatever time is needed to feel them, be with them, gain clarity on what insights they bring, and then choose to do something to transform them into good energy.  Something that will nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

Developing an attitude that meets life's challenges with a "what can I learn from this" is one that will ensure a life filled with joy and resiliency, and the energy and ability to keep transforming those challenges into gifts.  Focus your thoughts in a positive and life affirming way.  Create joy in your life!  Shower yourself with a thought diet of nourishing, pleasurable, and loving thoughts!
